Christmas Market & Holiday Craft Show at John Carlyle Square, located at 300 John Carlyle St., Alexandria, VA which is a 20 minute journey from your RESA apartment, will take place on Sat., Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with more than 100 artisans and crafters, independent consultants and other local small businesses.
Check items off your shopping list as you shop everything from unique handmade jewelry to organic bath and body products to home décor, holiday ornaments and much more. Take a break from shopping to enjoy the beautiful Christmas Carols Show and bring little ones to the Elves’ Shop where they can create a customized Christmas ornament. Pictures with Santa will also be available.
Winter Festival at the National Arboretum, located at 3501 New York Ave NE, Washington, D.C. which will only take you nine minutes to get to by car, will be held on Sat., Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Plus, there will be free holiday-themed, family-friendly activities like face painting, nature-based crafts and book giveaways.
