The annual Cherry Blossom Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the beauty of nature and international friendship. Not only in the springtime but through year-round programs, events, and educational initiatives.

The Cherry Blossom Festival commemorates the gift of 3,000 cherry trees from the mayor of Tokyo in 1912 to Washington D.C. The Festival celebrates the enduring friendship between the people of Japan and the United States. Currently, the festival welcomes over 1.5 million people. All of whom enjoy diverse and creative programming promoting traditional and contemporary arts and culture, natural beauty, and community spirit.
