Heurich House Museum – The Heurich mansion was built by local artisans in 1894, and craftsmanship and entrepreneurship are an important part of the museum’s history. It is the city’s best-preserved example of Richardsonian Romanesque residential architecture and one of the most landmarked interiors in DC. Stepping into this home is stepping back in Christmas as it would have been in 1894.
While this historic mansion is decorated to the nines every holiday season and attracts thousands of people for it’s decked halls, Heurich House also hosts a Christkindlmarkt ever year as well!
